Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 August 2026
This policy explains how Thrive with Rhys ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit this website or buy a digital product from us. We're a UK sole trader, and we take a plain-English approach — if anything here is unclear, get in touch.
Who we are
Thrive with Rhys is operated by Rhys Morgan, trading as Thrive with Rhys, a sole trader based in the UK.
Registered address: 1, Izabella House, 24-26 Regent Place, Birmingham B1 3NJ

What information we collect
We collect information in a few ways:
- Information you give us directly— your name and email address if you contact us, join a mailing list, or download a free resource.
- Payment and order information— when you buy a product, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email address and order details, but we never see or store your card details — Stripe handles that in line with its own privacy policy.
- Website usage information— analytics data such as pages viewed and general location, but only if you've accepted analytics cookies. Google Analytics is optional, stays off until you consent, and can be withdrawn at any time through Cookie Preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details.
- Marketing consent evidence— if you tick the marketing consent box at checkout, we record that choice together with the date and time, the exact wording and version of the checkbox you saw, where you saw it, and the IP address your browser connected from. We keep this as evidence of how you actively opted in. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- fulfil your order and deliver the digital product you've purchased;
- respond to questions or support requests;
- send you updates or marketing emails, but only if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time;
- keep records for accounting and legal purposes.
Legal basis for processing
We rely on performance of a contract to process and deliver orders, legitimate interests to operate and improve the website, and consent for marketing emails and analytics cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the third parties needed to run the business, principally:
- Stripe— for payment processing;
- MailerLite— our email marketing provider, if you opt in to marketing emails at checkout or sign up to our mailing list. MailerLite processes this information on our behalf. We may send MailerLite your email address, first name, which product you bought, and when, where and under which wording you agreed to receive marketing. We do not send MailerLite the IP address stored in our checkout consent record;
- Google Analytics— for website analytics, only if you've accepted analytics cookies. Google processes analytics information on our behalf and may do so outside the UK using appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep your information
We keep order records for as long as required by UK tax law (currently 6 years), and marketing contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. User-level Google Analytics 4 data may be retained for up to 14 months, depending on the GA4 property setting; aggregated reports may remain available for longer. We keep evidence of your marketing consent while we rely on that consent to email you. We may keep a limited record afterwards where needed to deal with a complaint, demonstrate how consent was obtained or make sure we continue to respect an unsubscribe request. We review these records and delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at rhys@thrivewithrhys.com.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
