AI Usage Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
I use AI tools to support parts of my work at Thrive With Rhys. This policy explains how I use them and the safeguards I apply.
1. How I Use AI
I may use AI-based tools to support or enhance aspects of my business, including but not limited to:
- Content creation (e.g. blogs, emails, captions)
- Creation of images and designs
- Idea generation and market research
- Drafting customer communications, such as suggested email and message replies
- Internal productivity tasks (e.g. scheduling, admin, creating summaries)
- Website development and technical support
I review and edit AI-assisted content before I publish it or provide it to a client.
2. AI and Personal Data
I minimise the personal information entered into AI tools and remove names, contact details and other identifying information where practical.
I do not intentionally enter confidential client records or special-category personal data, such as health information, into general-purpose AI tools.
Where personal information is processed using an AI tool, I limit it to what is needed and consider the tool's privacy, security and data-handling arrangements.
I do not use AI to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
More information about how I collect and use personal information is available in my Privacy Statement. Questions can be sent to rhys@thrivewithrhys.com.
3. Transparency and Responsibility
AI supports parts of my work. I retain editorial control and remain responsible for the final material I publish or provide.
I do not label every individual use of AI in routine content or administration. If AI plays a material role in a client-specific deliverable, I will explain this where it may affect the client's decision or use of that work.
4. Limitations of AI Use
AI-generated content may occasionally contain factual inaccuracies, outdated information, or lack context. While I strive for high-quality, human-reviewed outputs, I recommend that clients use their own judgement and verify any important information provided.
5. Your Choices
If you book a client-specific service and prefer me not to use AI in work connected with it, please tell me before the work begins.
I will confirm whether I can accommodate the request. If I cannot, you may decide not to proceed with that service.
6. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or my business practices. The latest version will always be available on my website.
